Danielle Riverin-Simard, Ph.D., is professor emeritus at Université Laval (Canada) and editorial member of many scientific journals. Dr. Haleama Al Sabbah is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Health Sciences Department at Zayed University in UAE. She completed her Ph.D. in Public Health Nutrition (Ph.D. in Medical Sciences) in 2008 from the Faculty of Medicine, Gent University, Belgium. She awarded a doctoral scholarship from Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC). Her Ph.D. study was part of the National Study of the Palestinian Health Behaviors in School-aged Children (HBSC-2004). Dr. Al Sabbah is regularly invited to both national and international conferences, courses, and research studies all over the world, including Europe, USA, Canada, West Africa, and some Arab countries. Dr. Al Sabbah's first degree is Public Health Nutrition from the Faculty of Medicine/ Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 1990. She worked as a nutritionist in a number of hospitals in Amman, Jordan, and then at Amman University. From 1995 to 1998, she worked at the Red Crescent Society Maternity Hospital in Ramallah. In 1998, awarded a scholarship for a Master of Philosophy in International Community Health and Nutrition in the Faculty of Medicine at Oslo University, Norway. Her Master’s thesis title was “Diabetes Self-Management in Rural Palestinian Community”.

Dr. Divyanshu ‘Divy’ Dua is a consultant medical oncologist and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). Dr. Dua trained in Internal medicine and Medical oncology in Australia as part of FRACP before completing a clinical fellowship in drug development, early phase trials, and thoracic malignancies at the Guy’s Hospital, London (UK), and the Sarah Cannon Research Institute (UK). Thoracic malignancies – including lung cancer, mesothelioma, and thymoma – continue to be of special clinical interest to Dr. Dua. Dr. Singhal is a neonatologist who trained at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi in India and did her fellowship in Canada. Her clinical work is with sick newborn babies. Her research interests are Resuscitation of the newborn, delayed cord clamping and implementation of newborn programs in resource-limited areas, and quality improvement. Educationally she has helped develop simple training programs for stabilization of the sick newborn and contributed to the Newborn Resuscitation Program. In Canada, she has been part of the group for EPIQ (Evidence-based Practice for Improving Quality) that has helped decrease newborn mortality and morbidity across the country. For the past 25 years, she has been involved in Global Child Health.
