Prof. Dr. Kun Zhou is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received his B.Eng. and M. Eng. degrees from Tsinghua University in 1998 and 2001, respectively, China and his Ph.D. from NTU in 2006. His research interests include additive manufacturing, mechanics of materials, and modelling and design for sustainable materials. He is Programme Director of Marine and Offshore in Singapore Centre for 3D Printing.He has published over 370 papers in refereed journals and over 20 book chapters. Prof. Dr. Michel Gendreau is a Professor of Operations Research in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering of Polytechnique Montréal (Canada). His main research area is the application of operations research methods to a wide range of problem areas: transportation and logistics systems planning and operation, energy production and storage, healthcare, and telecommunications. Dr. Gendreau has published more than 350 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is also the co-editor of eight books dealing with transportation planning and scheduling, as well as with metaheuristics. Dr. Gendreau was the Director of the Centre for Research on Transportation (formerly CRT and now CIRRELT) from 1999 to 2007. He was Editor in chief of Transportation Sciencefrom 2009 to 2014. Prof. Dr. Yucheng Liu(PhD, PE, FASME, FSAE) is the Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) at Mississippi State University (MSU), he currently serves as Graduate Coordinator in that department and holds the Jack Hatcher Chair in Engineering Entrepreneurship in the Bagley College of Engineering. Prior to joining MSU in 2014, Dr. Liu was the Assistant Professor of the ME Department at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL Lafayette). Dr. Liu received his PhD degree from the University of Louisville in 2005 and Bachelor’s Degree from the Hefei University of Technology in 1997, both in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Liu’s research has historically focused on the areas of multiscale material modeling and simulation, high strain rate performance of materials, vehicle systems design and analysis, and hydropower and wave energy technology. His current research interests and activities center on gaining a better understanding of the process-structure-property-performance relations of structural materials through advanced multiscale theoretical framework and integrated computational and experimental methods. To date, Dr. Liu has published more than 220 peer reviewed publications, including more than 110 peer reviewed journal articles. He has been the PI and co-PI for over 40 research projects funded by NSF, DOD, DOE, NASA, FAA, Louisiana Board of Regents, and industry with a total amount over $9.4M. Dr. Nitin Keshaorao Khedkar is Working as Deputy Director Administration, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department. Total 19 years of teaching experience and 2 years of industrial experience. Completed PhD (Mechanical Engineering) from Symbiosis International University and Masters from College of Engineering Pune. He has total32 Publications in international journals indexed in Scopus, SCI,web of scienceand few patents published. He is presently working on two major research project in the area of industry 4.0 especially in the area of vibration analysis for predictive maintenance & design, and development of biomedical application. He has successfully completed 3 minor research project in the area of improving the efficiency of cutting tools performance analysis and utilisation of non-conventional manufacturing processes for triboligical analysis. He has developed a first research lab at SIT in 2014, Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) Lab that is equipped with a manufacturing facility in Non-Conventional machining, conventional machining, digital manufacturing and material characterization technique. He is recognized as a reviewer for various national and international journals and was invited as a subject expert for viva-voce of research scholars at various universities. He is associated with various professional bodies of HCI, SAE, ISTE and ADI. He has successfully completed consultancy in the area of rapid prototyping, Motion and time study and model making and product design and development. He was a session chair during international conference on Human computer interaction (HCI). And part of organising committee during 2nd International Conference on Data Engineering and Communication Technology He has played a key role in establishing and developing the very first technical institute of Symbiosis (Symbiosis Institute of Technology) and worked with the capacity of Deputy Director and worked on various administrative and academic committees of Symbiosis International University like BOS, BOE, NAAC, AC and SCC and many more.
