About Conference

GCPH-2022, the Global Conference on Public Health & Healthcare Management-2022 has been scheduled for September 26-28, 2022 in Budapest, Hungary with the theme “Post Covid: Digitalization, The New Normal”. This meeting focuses on the major changes in the Public Health and Healthcare fields during and Post Covid.

This conference is going to incorporate more than 20+ Plenary and Keynote talks, limited to 150-200 attendees, all aiming to share knowledge and fruitful discussions among all the speakers. They will address the state-of-the-art methodologies and innovative applications of advanced technologies. These papers will provide unique insights into what is regarded as the research forefront of the key research areas in Public Health.

In addition to the intellectual pursuits and professional engagements provided by the conference, we hope you have good time to renew old friendships, forge new ones, and enjoy all that Budapest has to offer while you are here. Driven with the passion to health economics, Katarzyna has more than 20 years of academic and industry experience in the field of healthcare. Holding various Regional and Global leadership positions, she has gained experience with the pricing & reimbursement challenges in both pharma and medtech industry. At AstraZeneca and BiogenIdec, Katarzyna held Global and European positions respectively. At Bristol Myers Squibb and Lundbeck she led Market Access teams in Central Eastern European (CEE) and Nordic Region. After being Senior Sales Director responsible for HEOR at GE Healthcare, she has been supporting various med tech companies with RWE generation and reimbursement submissions for medical devices and digital health solutions globally. Her PhD thesis was developed at the University of York, University of Lund, and University of Bergen as well as during the International Doctoral Courses in the Health Economics and Policy organized by the Swiss School of Public Health. As Vice President of HEOR Science at PAREXEL she supervises various HEOR Modeling teams. At the Kozminski University, she leads International Master Program Health Economics & Big Data (HEBDA) financed by the EU research grant of the National Center for Research and Development. Among HEBDA tutors, there are teachers from the University of Erasmus, the University of Athens, Illinois, and University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. Since October 2020, she is a member of ISPOR’s Health Sciences Policy Council (HSPC). She is the chair of ISPOR Special Interest Group Digital Health as well. The mission is to address new opportunities in the healthcare sector emerging from the increasing use of digital technologies, specifically telemedicine and mobile devices (mHealth), and to evaluate the impact of information and communication technology on health outcomes. The key SIG project is the “Scoping review of digital health definitions used in literature and in practice” Katarzyna Kolasa is the Guest Editor of Special Issue "Quest for Value Drivers of Digital Health Solutions in the Post COVID-19 Era" at International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (ISSN 1660-4601) (IF 3.2) She has been collaborating with Ministry of Health in Poland leading the project of the optimal allocation of CT scanners for the Polish Ministry of Health. It was the adaption of evolutionary algorithms to analyze more than 120 mln of historical CT procedures. In addition, her research agenda relates to the value frameworks of medical devices and digital health interventions. She currently serves as external expert for the patients’ preference study to establish attribute for oncological care assessment organized by the Polish HTA agency. Dr Dorit Nitzan is the Regional Emergency Director for the World Health Organization (WHO) European Region. She joined the WHO in 2005 as the Public Health Services Manager in the South-eastern Europe Health Network, and the Head of Office and WHO Representative in Serbia (including Montenegro at that time). The team led by her received the 21st Century Award by the United Nations Secretary General for the special work done with and for the Roma people.
From 2012 to 2016, Dorit served as the WHO Representative in Ukraine. She led the WHO and the Health Cluster humanitarian operations and the polio outbreak response in the country. For the work done, the team led by her received the WHO Director General Reward of Excellence for exceptional contribution to the Organization in 2015.
In her current capacity Dorit leads the WHO emergency prevention, preparedness, response and recovery strategies, operations and monitoring and evaluation in the European Region (covering 53 Member States). More specifically, the Incident Management Team (IMST) and WHO Health Emergency (WHE) are assisting countries to plan and prepare for, respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. This incudes regional and national support to: 1. Coordination, planning, financing and monitoring; 2. Risk communicati0on, community engagement and infodemic management; 3. Surveillance, epidemiological investigation, contact tracing, and adjustment of public health and social measures; 4. Points of entry, international travel and transport, and mass gatherings; 5. Laboratories and diagnostics; 6. Infection prevention and control, and protection of the health workforce; 7. Case management, clinical operations, and therapeutics; 8. Operational support and logistics, and supply chains; 9. Maintaining essential health services and systems; and 10. Dorit came to WHO from the Israeli Ministry of Health where she served from 1996-2005. Since 1999 she was active in the humanitarian NGO “Physicians for Human Rights”. She also supported humanitarian operations in the Middle East and Ethiopia with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the World Food Programme, and Columbia University. She covered the areas of nutrition, food safety, public health and emergency response as a consultant in China, Republic of Moldova and the Russian Federation. She led health sector activities in disaster preparedness and response missions to Africa and served the search, rescue and victims identification operations response to the 2004 tsunami in Thailand.
Dorit is a pediatrician. She graduated from the Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine, Israel and completed her medical internship in Sapir Medical Center in Kfar-Saba Israel. She completed her three years pediatric residency in Morristown Medical Center, New Jersey, USA following by three years of fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition in Babies Hospital, Columbia University in New York. During the last two years of her fellowship she also graduated from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public health, and she holds n MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Prior to medicine Dorit graduated from the Hebrew University as a clinical dietitian. She continued working as a dietitian through her medical studies in Israel.

Medical Oncologist at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases - INEN, Lima - Peru, clinical medicine studies at the Faculty of Human Medicine of the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia - UPCH, Lima - Peru, post graduate studies with different specialties: General and Oncology Medicine - INEN, Health Services Management - UPCH, Health Administration - UPCH and Medical Audit - USLG; Master's Degree in Molecular Oncology at the National Center for Oncology Research - CENIO of Spain and in Public Health with a Mention in Health Services Management at UPCH; Doctorate studies in Public Health - UPCH, with extensive experience in Clinical Research and postgraduate studies in Molecular Clinical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute - NCI - United States.
Since 2000 he has been working in the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases - INEN, having been a Resident in the Specialty of Oncology Medicine, who for his outstanding professional performance during the years 2002-2003 was appointed Head of Residents of Oncology Medicine and in In the years 2003 - 2004 he carried out specialized training in the specialty of Clinical and Epidemiological Research with Mention in Oncological Medicine. Since 2005, she has been in administrative and clinical work at INEN, appointed as medical oncologist, carrying out in an outstanding way multiple clinical assistance functions, research, education as well as functions of high level of competence and performance in administrative health areas for the prevention and cancer control in Peru, the main positions as General Director of the Department of Diagnostic and Treatment Support Services - DISAD INEN (2010-2012) and Institutional Head of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases - INEN (2012-2016). Professor MBA Health of CENTRUM – UPCH (2018-2019) and ongoing Professor for Medical Residents at INEN for peruvian prestigious universities.
She has developed the National Plan for Comprehensive Cancer Care and the Improvement of Access to Oncological Services in Peru - "Plan Esperanza", public policy of cancer control in Peru with positive results published in the prestigious high-impact scientific journal Lancet Oncology. She is also the Founder of the INEN Breast Club, the main organization of patients for the control of cancer in women. She has represented Peru in different international organization meetings of public policies on health and Cancer Prevention and Control: ONU, WHO, PAHO, IAEA, IARC, UICC, NCI, RINC and others.
She has been awarded important prizes, among the most prominent: Europe Business Assembly - The Socrates Committee Oxford UK “Best Manager of the year” - Institutional Head 2012 - 2016 (March 2017) and member of the Global Leader Club for Regional Best Hospital - Oxford UK, “San Francisco de Borja Award in the degree of Order of San Borja” (May 2016), Award for Business Creativity in Health - UPC, INEN Medical Award “Master Doctor Eduardo Caceres Graziani” Diploma in Master's Degree (April 2014) , “Palma de Oro Award for Citizen Merit 2013” (April 2013), among others.
She is the author of many academical publications in Oncology, Public Health, Epidemiology and other related areas, which are published in International and National Scientific Journals, Speaker at different Scientific and Technical Congresses of International and National Academic Organizations”.
