Tiago H. Moreira de Oliveira is currently the Head of Innovation & Development at GeoGlobal, a leading company on the sector of geospatial intelligence and geographic information. For 10 years, he was the Executive Coordinator for R&D national and international Projects at NOVA Geoinformatics & Analytics Lab (NOVA IMS), participating and leading about 50 projects related with GIS & Science. His role as executive coordinator of this research department led him to participate in research and innovation projects that, for example, promote the conception, development, and implementation of GIS for management, integration, and analysis. His knowledge and expertise in GIS and Project Management allowed him to coordinate Projects; plan and assign tasks to the project’s team; prepare new proposals; write scientific articles and contribute to GIS consulting areas. He stills plays the role of Coordinator in the GIS & Science master course (www.novaims.unl.pt/unigis), and as a member of the UNIGIS International Network, which is associated to this master course. Since he has expertise in e-learning Platforms, he is a relevant asset in the programming of the course and its schedule; the design, maintenance, and implementation of the e-learning Platform, and by monitoring and following the students during the course. He is also a researcher on the PhD student in Information Management & GIS at NOVA IMS (Universidade NOVA de Lisboa), with a work entitled “The Emotion-Aware City: Using Ambient Geographic Information (AGI) in order to understand Emotion & Stress within Smart Cities”. He has also a master’s degree in Land Management and Urban Planning, and a degree in Geography and Territorial Planning. Since 2010 he became an assistant in teaching the courses of Geographic Information Systems and Science in NOVA IMS and FCT-UNL, both faculties from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. He is also an active participant on scientific events and as an author, by publishing about 45 papers. He is a member of MagIC – Center for Information Management. He is also a columnist on the Journal “Público”.

Dr. Carlos Renato Vázquez obtained a Sc.M. degree in Automatic Control by CINVESTAV, Mexico (2006), a Sc.M. in Mechanical Engineering by UNED, Spain (2016), and a phD in Systems Engineering by Universidad de Zaragoza, Spain (2011). In 2018, he participated in the training program Industry 4.0, organized by RWTH-Aachen and Tecnológico de Monterrey, in Aachen, Germany. Dr. Vázquez belongs to the Mexican National Research System since 2012. He has participated in several research projects with public and private funding. He is author of more than 50 research publications, including journal papers, extended conference papers and book chapters. He has collaborated as academic editor in the journal Mathematical Problems in Engineering, and as member of the PC of ETFA, WODES, JCRAI conferences. His research focus on the analysis of dynamical systems applied to industrial automation and automatic control. Currently, he is professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara, Mexico, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses of mechanical and control engineering.

Degree from Jadavpur University, India in 2010. He was a research fellow of the Advanced Technology Cell- DRDO, Govt. of India. He was awarded National Scholarship by HRD, Govt. of India. He has outstanding research experiences and published a no. of edited books, patents and more than 80 research papers. He is serving as an editorial board member of several international journals including an Chief Editor. He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching, research as well as industry. His UG and PG teaching assignments include Microprocessor and microcontroller, AI, IOT, Embedded and real time systems etc. He has delivered Keynote/Invited lecture in a number of international seminar/conferences, refreshers courses, and FDPs. He has guided a large number of M.Tech and Ph.D. students. Dr. Ghosh is an active member of IEEE and organized a number Seminars and workshops in association with IEEE. Founder of the field of Robotics at the University of Toronto where he has been since 1982 as a Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, cross-appointed in the Institute of Biomaterials & Biomedical Engineering, and in the Electrical and Computer Engineering, and currently a Professor Emeritus. Has supervised to date 46 Ph.D. and 64 MASc theses. Publication record over 11000 citations (128 archival journal papers, 294 papers in major conferences, 15 book chapters, and 105 patents granted and applied). Founder and CEO of Engineering Services Inc. (ESI) - www.esit.com, established in 1982. From 2000- 2001 Dr. Goldenberg was also the President of Virtek Engineering Science Inc. (VESI). Dr. Goldenberg is also President of Anviv Mechatronics Inc. (AMI), which he founded in 2006. In May 2015 ESI has been acquired by a Chinese consortium located in Shenzhen, P.R. China. Became a public company in November 2016 listed in Hong Kong and Dr. Goldenberg was appointed as Chief Technology Officer of the public company. He terminated this appointment in May 2019. As of May 2019, Dr. Goldenberg has returned to the University on a part-time basis to work on graduate research in the use of Artificial Intelligence in advanced Robotics, focusing on Personal Service Robots. He has also founded AI-Embedded Robotics Inc. and ESIRAI Inc. both involved in the development of AI-driven robotics products. As of May 2019, Dr. Goldenberg has returned to the University on part-time basis to work on graduate research in the use of Artificial Intelligence in advanced Robotics, focusing on Personal Service Robots.

Dr. Aos Mulahuwaish received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada, in 2018. In 2017, he joined Saginaw Valley State University, MI, USA, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. His research interests include machine learning, network science, social media analytics, text analytics, social Cybersecurity, supervisory control of discrete-event systems (DES), and fault tolerance system.

Dr. Rao Mikkilineni is a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, CA., and an Associate Adjunct Professor at Dominican University, CA. He currently teaches various courses on AI, Information Technologies and Cloud Computing. He also is the Chief Scientist at Equal Access Carriers Inc., delivering self-managing edge cloud computing solutions including highly resilient, scalable self-configuring, self-monitoring and self-controlling information processing systems. He is a guest editor of the Journal “Big Data and Cognitive Computing” special edition on “Data, Structure and Information in Artificial Intelligence. His book “Designing a New Class of Distributed Systems” was published by Springer, New York in 2011. He presented his work on cognitive distributed computing architecture in the Turing Centenary Conference in Manchester in 2012. Dr. Mishra is a Storage Software Researcher at Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. based in San Jose, CA. His primary responsibility is to innovate, design and develop state-of-the-art storage architectures for current and future needs of data centers. Dr. Mishra's work involves designing (re-designing), and developing solutions in the Linux Storage Stack for inching towards the realization of Software Defined Data Centers, while decreasing the performance mismatch between application requirements and storage device capabilities. His primary research interests lie in operating systems (Linux OS IO stack), object-storage, key-value stores, KV-SSDs, computational storage, Hadoop (HDFS) deployments, HDDs and SSD adaptations. He has worked from developing Big Data applications to building the architectural infrastructure on which these applications run. Dr. Mishra holds a PhD degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University with thesis titled: "Host Managed Storage Solutions for Big Data". He also holds a Computer Science & Engineering undergraduate degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India. Dr. Mishra has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and filed patents in the field of storage architectures and the Linux IO stack redundancy elimination, interestingly to develop intelligent class of storage devices. Wei Li received the B.Eng. degree in automation and the M.Eng. degree in control science and engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2009 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Sheffield, U.K., in 2016. He is currently a Research Associate at the University of York, UK. He has published more than 30 academic articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, such as the IEEE Transactions on Robotics and NeurIPS. His research interests include robotics and computational intelligence, and especially self-organized systems, and evolutionary machine learning.

Dariusz Jacek Jakóbczak was born in Koszalin, Poland, on December 30, 1965. He graduated in mathematics (numerical methods and programming) from the University of Gdansk, Poland in 1990. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2007 in computer science from the Polish – Japanese Institute of Information Technology, Warsaw, Poland. From 1991 to 1994 he was a civilian programmer in the High Military School in Koszalin. He was a teacher of mathematics and computer science in the Private Economic School in Koszalin from 1995 to 1999. Since March 1998 he has worked in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Koszalin University of Technology, Poland and since October 2007 he has been an Assistant Professor in the Chair of Computer Science and Management in this department. His research interests connect mathematics with computer science and include computer vision, artificial intelligence, shape representation, curve interpolation, contour reconstruction and geometric modeling, numerical methods, probabilistic methods, game theory, operational research and discrete mathematics.

Dr K.R.Ramkumar has received his Ph.D., in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, having 21 years of Teaching and Research Experience, presently He is working at Chitkara University , Punjab, India. His areas of expertise are network security , post quantum cryptography and quantum computing. He is currently working with Defence Research and Development Organisation , India to develop a new generation of cyber security algorithms based on polynomials. He is also working on a project to detect counterfeit of popular branded products . He has published more than 50 research papers to his credit. He is a part of the Higher Degree by research program in Deakin University , Australia and guiding Ph.D scholars .To his credit , five Ph.D scholars have completed Ph.D from Chitkara University , India under his supervision and five more are currently pursuing.
