Professor Eduard Babulak, Ph.D., is an accomplished international scholar, researcher, consultant, educator, professional engineer, and polyglot with more than 30 years of experience. He has been an invited speaker at prestigious academic institutions worldwide, including the University of Cambridge, England; Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) USA; Purdue University, USA; Yokohama National University, Japan; Penn State, USA; and many others. Steve Brueck was the first professor in the hundred-year history of the School of Engineering to be named a UNM Distinguished Professor, in 2006. The title, now held by four professors in the School, is the highest UNM bestows on its faculty. Dr. Brueck has provided both technical and administrative leadership as director of UNM’s Center for High Technology Materials since joining ECE in 1985. Generating more than $9 million annually in grants and contracts, CHTM is an internationally recognized center for optoelectronics, microelectronics and nanotechnology research. Dr. Brueck is the founding editor of the IEEE Journal of Special Topics in Quantum Electronics. In 1991 he received the UNM School of Engineering’s Outstanding Researcher Award, and in 2000 IEEE awarded him the Third Millennium Medal. Dr. Brueck’s research explores the extension of optical lithography/ microscopy to the high-resolutions necessary for future generations of ICs. He applies the capabilities of interferometric lithography to expand nanophotonic, nanoscale growth and nanofluidic science and technology. A topic of recent interest is extending microscopy, one of the oldest and most important areas of optical science, to higher resolutions approaching the linear systems limits. He currently is faculty advisor to seven doctoral students and three postdoctoral/senior scientists, and he holds a joint appointment in UNM’s Physics & Astronomy Department.

Zongyou obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees at Jilin University in China, and completed his Ph.D. at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Then, he worked as the Research Fellow with Professor Hua Zhang at NTU followed by the Scientist II at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), A*STAR in Singapore. At the beginning of 2014, Zongyou moved to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA; he was a Postdoctoral Associate and subsequently promoted to the Research Scientist working with Professor Ju Li and Professor Jesus A del Alamo . During 2014 - 2015, Zongyou also visited and worked with Professor Daniel G. Nocera for one year at Harvard University, Cambridge, USA. Zongyou joined the RSC at ANU in 2017 to build up his own Materials Science and Applications Laboratory.

Huei Wang was born in Tainan, Taiwan, in 1958. He received the B. S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, ROC, in 1980, and the M. S. and Ph. D. degrees in electrical engineering from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan in 1984 and 1987, respectively. Dr. Wang is a member of the honor society Phi Kappa Phi and Tau Beta Pi. He received the Distinguished Research Award of National Science Council, Taiwan, at 2003. He was the Richard M. Hong Endowed Chair Professor of National Taiwan University in 2005-2007. He was elected as an IEEE Fellow in 2006, and has been appointed as an IEEE Distinguished Microwave Lecturer for the term of 2007-2009. Dr. Wang received the Academic Achievement Award from Ministry of Education, Taiwan, in 2007, and the Distinguished Research Award from Pan Wen-Yuan’s Foundation in 2008. He has been Life National Chair Professor of Ministry of Education, ROC since 2013. He also has been appointed as the NTU Chair Professor from 2016.

Dr. Anis Rahman is an acclaimed scientist in the field of semiconductor and nanotechnology. He is a winner of many scientific awards including NASA Nanotech Brief’s "Nano-50" award twice; CLEO/Laser Focus World's "Innovation award;" and "2015 MP Corrosion Innovation of the Year," by the NACE. Anis is the founder of Applied Research & Photonics (ARP) a leading Terahertz (T-ray) company located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (see http://arphotonics.net), serving the semiconductor and nanotechnology industry. Among others, he invented the "Dendrimer Dipole Excitation," a new mechanism for high power, continuous wave T-ray generation. With this T-ray, ARP has created a number of new scientific instruments including a camera-less lattice resolution 3D imaging technology that can see and analyze below the surface of semiconductors and nanomaterials. Anis is a recognized scientific leader and member of scientific organizations including the American Chemical Society (ACS) and The Optical Society of America (senior member). He is the chair of the optical metrology technical group of the OSA, past chair of the Small Chemical Businesses Division, and past chair of the local chapter of the ACS. Anis also received awards from the OMICS International keynote recognition, Center for Dermal Research, Rutgers University.

Chao Liu is a professor in school of integrated circuits, Shandong University, China. He received the Ph.D Degree in electrical and computer engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2016. From 2016 to 2019, he worked in Institute of Electrical Engineering, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland as a Scientist/post-doc. He is currently a Professor in Xi’an University of Technology and Head of Key Laboratory of Ultrafast Photoelectric Technology and Terahertz Science in Shaanxi. His fields of interest focus on high-power pulse application, terahertz generation from GaAs antenna, etc.

Prof. Dr. Raymond Ooi is an elected Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia since 2015. He won the Malaysian Toray Science Foundation (MTSF) Science & Technology Award in 2013. He obtained his PhD (dr.rer.nat) from Universitaet Konstanz, Germany in quantum optics and laser cooling of molecules. He then worked as a post-doctoral Research Associate for three years with Marlan O. Scully (a distinguish physicist in quantum coherence). During this time, he was also a Visiting Scientist at Princeton University and Max-Planck Institut fuer Quantenoptik. Then, he joined KAIST as a Research Professor, Korea University as Assistant Professor and Monash University (Sunway) as Senior Lecturer, before joining Universiti Malaya in 2010. His research has produced a total of more than 160 publications (mainly WoS journal & including conference papers) covering quantum optics, nonlinear molecular spectroscopy and quantum microscopy, statistical physics of Bose-Einstein condensates, interactions, generation and propagation of ultrashort and intense laser pulses. In 2011 he initiated the "Quantum and Laser Science" research center and single-handedly developed the Ultrafast High Intensity Femtosecond Laser and Optics facility in High Impact Research (HIR) building through the MoHE grant. In 2018, he initiated and chaired the first international conference on Quantum and Nonlinear Optics(QNO2018). Recently he is leading quantum communications research program for the country.

Barnabas Achakpa Ikyo is the Director of the Centre for Food Technology and Research (CEFTER) and Pysics Professor at Benue State University Makurdi, Nigeria. In 2014, he was appointed Project Manager of the Africa Centre of Excellence project won and hosted at CEFTER. He became an Associate professor in 2018. He holds a PhD from the University of Surrey, UK. He will be supporting the work/mission of the NRI/University of Greenwich to expand research excellence. Dr. Oguzhan Kazaz completed his post-graduate Ph.D. research study by successfully defending his Ph.D. thesis titled "Nanofluids and PCM for Efficient Thermal Energy Storage" under the supervision of Professor Manosh C. Paul at University of Glasgow, United Kingdom at the end of 2023. Having strong experience in experimental and computational fluid dynamics methods of nanofluids and phase change materials for solar thermal energy conversion and storage systems by emphasizing the radiative heat transfer and light-matter interaction, he has strong technical background in the combined optics and heat transfer process, material science, thermo-fluid dynamics, and fundamental research and understanding of the problems associated with the complex interactions of heat and mass transport in energy systems. He wasearlier Vertical Manager, Global Sources, Hong Kong, managing the telecoms verticals -- wireless, broadband, telephones, and mobile accessories. He is among the earliest to spin off the online specs table for telecom in 1999. He and his team won four awards in Hong Kong for managing these sites. Pradeep rejoined as Assistant Bureau Chief, Hong Kong, in 2007, managing computers, electronic components, electronics, telecom. Pradeep's blogs have so far won 19 titles – 18 global and 1 national. Biography

Dr. Rahul Bhattacharya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, India. He received the B.E degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from NIT Durgapur in 2005 and M.S(R) degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad in 2019. Prior to joining IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, he spent some years in ST-Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Design Designer in the High-Speed Link Validation group and as a research consultant in the Advanced VLSI Design Laboratory at IIT Kharagpur, India. His research focuses on FPGA Emulation of mixed-signal circuits, Fault modeling and diagnosis and VLSI circuits testing. Prof. Bhattacharya is the recipient of ADI Innovation Fellowship Grant from Analog Devices India Pvt. Ltd. for his exceptional research in the field of modelling, emulation and verification. He also acts as a reviewer of various National and International journals such as IEEE Open journal of the Solid State Circuits Society, IEEE TVLSI, IEEE Transactions on Device and Materials Reliability, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Access, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, India, Section A: Physical Sciences, Springer etc.
